When I returned from Chicago last month, I took the train. Here are some of the photos I snapped through the window. I walked this segment in March of 2009.
Yes. This first segment took me five days to walk though. The middle three days were through this heavily industrialized stretch. Not my favorite part of the Lake Trek, but an important stretch historically and economically.
