I had read the article online that the Michigan City paper did on the trek, but I had no idea it was on the front page until Janet Smith, owner of the Feallock House B&B, sent me a copy of the paper!Nice photo, too, with the Michigan City lighthouse over my shoulder.
It's snowing here right now, and I'm glad to have a week off the trek to let the weather sort itself out. The next segment is from South Haven to Grand Haven, around 50 miles.
I head back to the lake on April 6.
