In Search of Scale...


Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a wild place.  There are sweeping vistas and dense forests and perched, steep dunes.  

Every time I lifted the camera to my eye, I searched for something to give scale to the shot.  Something to use as a reference point to snap the scene to scale.
