One year ago today, over 40 friends and family and followers of my adventures gathered on
Mackinac Island for the Grand Finale of my
1000-Mile Great Lakes ISLAND Adventure.

We had a gorgeous day for the hike

Hikers ready to head out

Over 25 people hiked the final miles of this adventure on Mackinac Island.

I brought along the walking stick carved for me by Bette Hartig of Big Rapids, Michigan. It was an honor to hike the final miles of my final adventure with this custom walking stick.

This month, I had five events in the Chicago area.
I have more upcoming events [see full schedule HERE].

And I've already started to book events for 2016.
I now have three dynamic presentations:

All Five Great Lakes

Three years ago today, I completed my
1000-MILE GREAT LAKES WALK
in Niagara Falls, Ontario, along the Niagara River Recreational Trail.

Hiking amidst the fall leaves

I hiked with a fantastic group of people who came to the falls to join me for the final miles of my adventure.

We had lovely weather the first day, hiking among the bright colors of fall.  Our break the first day was at a winery along the way. We stopped for wine and cheese.

That's classy hiking!

On a trip to visit family in Atlanta, I had an invitation to speak to the retirement community where my mom lives.

I had a great time with family.

Centennial Park!

We took in some of the high points of the city.

My sons each have a brick with their names in Centennial Park

The World of Coke!

And I had a wonderful time speaking to the retirement community at Clairmont Crest.
